My name is Stacey Chang. I started off my Freshman Year at Merced High School. I am now a Senior at the newest high school in Merced.
About me: Welcome to Stacey Chang's Page. Stacey started off her Freshman Year at Merced High School. She is now a Senior at the newest high school in Merced called El Capitan. She was part of winterguard the second semester of her Sophomore Year and colorguard the first semester of her Junior Year. She also created a community service club called the Leo club and became president for two years. Stacey loves to help her family, peers, and community. She has contributed over 450 community service hours in fundraisers for non-profit organizations, served food, organized can foods at her local food bank, and many more. Not only that, she was in choir for a year and has been involved in Link Leadership which she helped mentor Freshman students for three years.
Experiencing being a leader in her community and taking AP biology has helped her figure what she wanted to do after high school. After she graduates, she plans to attend University of Irvine to pursue her career in Public Health Administration.
She comes from a family of 9 children. She is the youngest and looks up to her family's hardships. During her free time, she spends time with her family and friends. Everything she does today is done for a reason whether it is good or bad. She is ready for anything else that may come in her way.
Favorite Quote: "People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway."
